Family Catechesis
An important part of family catechesis is to invite and welcome parents to opportunities for faith. Be sure to listen to their questions, concerns and hopes about their own faith journey. Then present, in an adult model of learning, aspects of our Catholic faith that helps parents to choose God and worship as an integral part of their family life.
Education in the faith by parents, which should begin from the children’s tenderest age, is already being given when the members of a family help each other to grow in faith through the witness of their Christian lives, a witness that is often without words but which perseveres throughout a day-to-day life lived in accordance with the Gospel.
